Great Defense Leads Canisius College Women to a Win vs Loyola - Blog

Posted by Jeffrey S Levine on February 10, 2013 - 7:53pm

As Terry Zeh has done many times in his illustrious nine year coaching the women’s team at Canisius College, he had his girls really prepared and on their A game to bounce back after losing their last 4 contest today. In the latest edition of the Play4Kay series the lady Griffs defeated the Loyola Greyhounds 48-39 at the Koessler Athletic Center this afternoon. Canisius’s defense was stifling all afternoon long as they held the Greyhounds to 24% shooting from the floor for the game and 11% from 3. The Greyhounds only had 2 double digit scores for the game.

With the 2012 NBA draft underway my initial thought was I love to see how mature all 3 of these 1st 3 picks are. All were freshman this past year and Anthony Davis, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Bradley Beal can really play. I especially love the Kidd-Gilchrist pick. Him and Cam Newton in Charlotte? They are going to bring playoff action back to Charlotte in the next couple years!!! Love the Dion Waters and Kyrie Irving back court in Cleveland.

NBA Finals Game 3-4th Quarter - Blog

Posted by Julian Radney on June 17, 2012 - 11:05pm

Miami has was great at getting back on defense. OKC had no transition buckets really tonight.
In the 2 losses, OKC has been missing their free throws. 15-24 free throws tonight. It is really inexplicable for OKC to be missing these many free throws.
Bosh had some great offensive and defensive rebounds to give Miami key extra possessions especially late.
Another good game shooting wise by Durant but he cant guard LBJ any more until the 4th quarter because foul trouble keeps having him be to much of a non factor.

NBA Finals Game 3-3rd Quarter - Blog

Best move OKC made in this quarter was sitting Westbrook. He had 4 straight possessions of bad basketball.Getting no one involved and ending up with 3 missed shots and a turnover.
Milk Carton alert: Has anyone seen James Harden???
Where has OKC's good free throw shooting gone???
OKC loves the 3rd quarter. They always come out balling. Another good one by them.
Wade is coming alive and looking good again.
