Buffalo Bisons and (716) to host ‘Meet The Team Night’

The Buffalo Bisons will hold a Meet the Team Night at (716) Food and Sport from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 7. Fans will have a chance to meet Bisons players and get ready for the start of the season. There is no ticket required to attend the event.
“This Meet the Team event is a great opportunity for our fans to get to know the 2015 Buffalo Bisons club in an exciting sports environment. We’re looking forward to (716) and Coca-Cola Field being destinations throughout the summer for the fans of Western New York and southern Ontario who come down for Bisons baseball,” said Bisons GM Mike Buczkowski.
“We’re excited to partner with the Bisons to host another event that makes (716) a destination for all sport fans,” added HarborCenter Vice President of Food and Beverage Dominic Verni. “As we get ready for another exciting baseball season, we look forward to welcoming Bisons fans with a big celebration and giving them a place to enjoy throughout the summer.”
Meet the Team Night will feature many activities that have become staples at (716) during special event parties. The staff will have Bisons-themed food and drink specials, along with trivia contests and giveaways from the Bisons, HarborCenter and One Buffalo. Ben Wagner, “The Voice of the Bisons,” will be on hand to host the event and conduct player interviews that will be heard throughout the restaurant.
Additionally, Bisons fans will get a chance to meet mascots Buster Bison and Chip, as well as the Wing Race characters – Wing, Celery and Bleu Cheese — who will be greeting attendees and taking pictures throughout the evening.
As baseball season begins, (716) will be the place to be for all Bisons fans before and after home games at Coca-Cola Field. The excitement will extend beyond the opening pitch, as all Bisons games, both home and away, will be shown on the restaurant’s 38-foot television screen. (716) will also host three post-game player meet-and-greet events throughout the summer.
